The girl hub is a light-filled connector between the existing Girls Inc. building and the new addition. It is the place where hundreds of girls pass through every day. The ceiling was designed to do two things: provide sound control and create a sense of intimacy in the larger volume. The ceiling plane is composed of a customized acoustic baffle system. We worked with the architect to clearly document the height and length of thousands of acoustic baffles for the installer.
